You're listening to the Confident Choice podcast with me, Dr. Roberto Garcia, a double board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon. Honest conversations and expert advice about the decisions that make you feel your best. Welcome everybody to the Confident Choice. We are now in our second season and today we're going to be talking with our favorite guests. We've had them on already one time, one other time in season one. You're like the guest star that shows up in like, you know, like in The Love Boat, they'd have like the guest stars every year. And all the girls were like, he's coming. I have to watch it tonight. Did you watch The Love Boat? Did you watch Fantasy Island? Did you watch Little House on the Prairie?

Dr. Patrick Basile [0:50 - 0:51]
All the above, sir.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [0:51 - 0:51]
Did you really?

Dr. Patrick Basile [0:52 - 1:00]
Yeah. I couldn't get down to Little House on the Prairie. You know, it's my wife's favorite, but I agree. If it came between the two of them, we're going Fantasy Island.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [1:00 - 1:04]
I like Fantasy Island because I like, I don't know why, I just like little guys.

Dr. Patrick Basile [1:04 - 1:04]
Tattoo.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [1:04 - 2:26]
You know, they're just, they're just funny. They add humor and they're generally pretty brilliant. So, but the, so this is our second season. It's gone out. It's gone on really well. I want to talk today a little bit about, you know, some of the myths about costs. Costs of our procedures. And, you know, there's the whole gamut, right? Yeah. people that are charging these ridiculous amounts, the, you see them in Wall Street Journal and, and I'm, and I know a couple of those guys and I want, I'll talk a little bit about them, but, but first I got to tell you, I know you just did something really cool. You went to Europe with your family. I went to see the Brewers play in Tampa on Monday night. So, you know, I love the Brewers. I went to med school up there and I thought there's never going to be an opportunity where the Milwaukee Brewers are going to be playing in a World Series three hours away from here. So I went and literally it was like being at a Brewers home game. There were so many Brewers fans and at least half of them were Brewers fans. And, you know, and it's amazing that when you don't drink, how drunk everybody is around you. Yeah.

Dr. Patrick Basile [2:26 - 2:28]
Especially at a game like that. Yeah.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [2:28 - 2:36]
And they were like, Hey, my, my brother-in-law says, Hey, you want something to drink? I'm like, no, I got to get up tomorrow morning at 3:30. Because I got to drive back to Jacksonville.

Dr. Patrick Basile [2:36 - 2:36]
Yeah.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [2:36 - 2:40]
Got to work. This is my life. Yeah. But it was great. Hopefully they'll close it out tonight.

Dr. Patrick Basile [2:40 - 2:41]
Yeah. We'll see.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [2:41 - 2:41]
That's awesome.

Dr. Patrick Basile [2:41 - 2:42]
That's a great experience.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [2:42 - 2:59]
And like, yeah, man, never get to see it. I wish I could have seen it with my son. Yeah. but you know, he's knee deep in the thick of busy. So what do you think about some of these guys that are charging these ridiculous amounts out there?

Dr. Patrick Basile [2:59 - 4:28]
You know, I just talked, I was at a meeting and, was talking with some of my friends from New York and I'm like, is this really like what's going on up there? And they go, yeah. And you know, social media has gotten ridiculous and all, and I'm not, I don't want to mention names because I'm not going to give anybody the attention that they feel they deserve. But people go on social media and they said, I just had the, a facelift from the best surgeon in the world and I paid this much. And now people think that that's how much it costs to have an elite level surgery and people buy into it, you know, and then it kind of artificially escalates everything up. And like I said, I talked to a friend of mine from New York. He's like, I know that guy. He's just doing a standard, regular SMAS facelift, nothing. And they might call it deep plane or whatever, you know, and then deep plane became the whole lingo. Now, you know, we go through those, kind of ebbs and flows of like SMAS and deep plane and back and forth, regarding facial surgery, but it's nothing necessarily new. There's nothing new about it. And you do all different types of facelifts and you're not doing anything different. and so I don't know how these people ended up marketing themselves to be able to charge that, but it kind of, you know, it makes it confusing, I think, to patients to think like, well, if you're only charging this much, am I getting an inferior product or how much can you charge? And what also, what does a, a city or a region of the country kind of allow because you can only charge so much in different areas, you know?

Dr. Roberto Garcia [4:28 - 5:33]
Well, and I was surprised because there was a guy out and, I know the guy from New York. I just was at a meeting and he lectured there. the, there was a guy in Missouri, who charged something like a quarter million dollars for a facelift and it was all over the news. I think it was Springfield or someplace. Uh, and you know, the problem that I have is I've been at a meeting and I have lectured next to some of these guys and I've put my before and after pictures next to theirs and there is no difference in the result. None. And I say that with all confidence. And what I, what I, what I see as a problem is you're chasing away a lot of people who need it and you're making it this elitist thing to have a facelift.

Dr. Patrick Basile [5:33 - 5:33]
Yeah.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [5:33 - 5:55]
That can only speak to my business. and I think it's unfair to the patient. I think it's wrong because you're, you're not giving everybody a chance to have it done. So then what happens is they will always feel like they didn't get the better product. And you know, I don't try to be the most expensive guy in town.

Dr. Patrick Basile [5:55 - 5:55]
Yeah.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [5:55 - 6:30]
I don't aspire to be, I don't want to be. I mean Mayo Clinic is charging Lord knows what, but what I do want is I don't want a patient to come here and then end up going somewhere else, getting a bad surgery done, which I don't know why in the last two months I've seen a run of people that have gone to have bad surgery elsewhere and cheaper. And, and then it just messes them up forever. Because you know how it is. Once you start behind the eight ball and you, you stay, you start in the wrong place, you're, you're, you really, it's hard to come back, come out of that.

Dr. Patrick Basile [6:30 - 7:01]
Revision anything makes it harder. Yeah. You know, and especially if there are things done or that you don't even know we're done until you get in there. And, and I say people, I'm like, sometimes I'm like a forensic plastic surgeon. I get in there. I'm like, Oh, this is what the surgeon tried to do. And hopefully they haven't crossed bridges that, you know, they haven't rusted bridges that you can't get back over. But yeah, I mean, I think it's, you're absolutely right. Someone could be on social media and be like, Oh, you know, I'd really like a facelift. And then you're like, I just got mine done by Dr. So-and-so and it was a quarter million dollars. Well, I guess that's out, you know?

Dr. Roberto Garcia [7:01 - 7:44]
Right. Right. And so that's what, that's a good point. I mean, I think that's why this podcast, Amy, Alyssa is so important to get out there so that people can see that there are reasonable surgeons doing the work out there at a reasonable cost. Okay. I mean, it's all, if, if it doesn't happen, it's you guys fault, by the way. But, but yeah, you know, I just think that we're in a, we're in a day now where everybody's so highly influenced with social media that they're not, it's, it's literally like, there's two types of people. Those that watch the real news and read the news. And then those that watch social media news, you know, and I'll have patients come in, can you believe what happened? What?

Dr. Patrick Basile [7:45 - 7:57]
And they tell me, and I said, that's not what happened. Yeah. You know? And so they watch some either AI generated thing or got clickbait and pulled it and then they're just reading the headline. And that's not even the real thing.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [7:57 - 8:19]
No, no. The guy in New York, what he does is it's a full week or two week experience. Okay. Puts them up at the Plaza. Yep. And has a nurse 24 hours with them, cleaning the patient's incisions, bathing them, doing all these things for two weeks. Man, I'd get nuts if I had somebody in my house for eight hours.

Dr. Patrick Basile [8:19 - 8:19]
Yeah.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [8:20 - 8:22]
You know? But I guess there's some people that really dig that.

Dr. Patrick Basile [8:22 - 9:37]
Yeah. You know, there are going to be, I mean, there's a small, it's a small amount of people that, and we see it, how much they'll pay for different perfumes or even skincare lines that are like super elite that no one would ever pay for. But they consider it a status thing and say, Oh, I had a surgery from so-and-so. And the funny thing is a lot of times they're not even the best surgeons, you know, so it's, it's, I think if you deliver a consistent product and you have a good reputation and in this day and age, people are talking, this isn't like 20, 30 years ago when plastic surgery was even a little taboo, but if you deliver a consistent product and you have people talking, like I had a patient, I did a mommy makeover on, she's a weight loss patient. And I mean, she was as super transparent as can be said, like, this is what I had done. This is what I was charged. This is what I did. She shared everything, the good, bad, it was awesome. And I'm telling you that amount of transparency got me so many new patients because she talked about her experience, just was very honest, you know, and just said, this is what, you know, what, what he does. And, and I thought that was really good. So when you have patients talking like that, I think that's really good.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [9:38 - 10:14]
Well, you know, you back it up, right? I mean, you, you almost build a level of credibility with a patient when you don't charge them this ridiculous amount of money and you give them an A plus result. Absolutely. That makes them feel like, all right, there's honest people in the world. Yeah. And, and I'm sure the surgeons that are charging that, they, they can, they, they do good work. I'm not doubting that. There's no question about that, but I don't know. I mean, each surgeon can charge whatever they want. It's their prerogative, but I just think it's, it's, it's kind of a disservice to people. Yeah.

Dr. Patrick Basile [10:14 - 11:48]
I think in general, absolutely. Yes. Because I think you're right. There are some people who are going to kind of flip it on and see that and be like, well, I guess, you know, that's not for me. They don't, they don't even want to come in and get their hopes up and then be like, I don't want to be shown something. You know, it's like, oh, I'm shopping for a new car. And then you go to the dealership and you know, they show you the car. And then all of a sudden it's like, this is the cost. I'm like, well, I, I'd rather not even come and be disappointed.

Dr. Roberto Garcia So do you guys tell patients prices over the phone?

Dr. Patrick Basile Ranges. Okay. So especially when it comes to breast surgery or mommy makeovers, because a lot of it has to do with time, but you know, we'll say like, Hey, if you're going to come in for a breast aug and lift, this'll be the range, kind of the top and the bottom, you know, depending on if we add something like an internal bra or a special type of implant, I think that's really good because you know, at least you're giving them some idea ahead of time. And, and if you know, they're okay to move forward because again, what you don't want them to do is show up and you spend an hour with them. And then they're like, Oh wow. Yeah. That's because then what they've done is, and it's more of like, I don't care that they're not going to do the surgery, but they've taken up a space that someone else would really want, you know? And I know you're busy as well and your consults are booked out and what you want, what you don't want, I'm sure you hear this too, is man, Dr. Basile, I really tried to get him to see you, but you're, you know, you're, you're, it's takes a while to get in. And if someone was never going to be a patient to begin with. So vetting a patient is very important for the practice and the patient, you know, giving them as much information as possible.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [11:49 - 11:55]
Yeah. And there's some surgeons that will charge these ridiculous consultation fees to push people. And I don't know, I'm not a fan

Dr. Patrick Basile [11:55 - 12:16]. I'm not a fan of that either. And there are some, you know, within the breast body world who claim to be the best and again, they get spun up on social media and it's like, Oh, there's a two-year wait to get with so-and-so and it's a $2,000 non-refundable, non-applicable, just consult charge. And I'm like, what's the point?

Dr. Roberto Garcia [12:16 - 12:33]
Yeah. You know? So when you look at somebody, when they come in the door and they immediately start talking about money, okay. Which is kind of one of those things that tells you that's a big thing for them.

Dr. Patrick Basile [12:33 - 12:34]
Yeah.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [12:35 - 12:47]
Um, do you in your mind kind of say, all right, I'm going to work with this person a little bit, you know, I'm not, I'm not, I maybe will give him a discount or something like that. Or do you just kind of say, there's people that just say I'm a flat fee guy.

Dr. Patrick Basile [12:48 - 13:40]
I think, well, the first thing to do is I try to take myself out of the cost of surgery. Yeah. Like I just say like, Hey, I'm just a talent. You got to talk to, to Kimber's my patient care coordinator. She handles all that, but I'll talk with her about, you know, your concerns. But again, a lot of that is done on the before end, you know, like, Hey, what's your budget? What are you thinking? You're going to spend, what are you looking at? Oh, you know, in the pre-screen process, it tends to not be a big issue, but yeah, some people are going to come up and be like, Hey doc, you know, you pay cash, do I get a discount? Right. People try to add things in, you know, even day of surgery. Hey, is it okay if we do a little while you're there? And I'm like, that's not the way it works, you know? And they're like, Oh, you can do it. I go, it takes more time. We didn't, you know, block that time for the surgery. You know, there's ways to do it without seeming and, you know, sometimes I'll, I'll, you know, we'll, we'll add it in if it's reasonable or whatever, but it's more of like, I don't like being taken by surprise, you know?

Dr. Roberto Garcia [13:40 - 14:28]
I mean, there's, I can't tell you how many times that I don't like game day changes, you know, I'm like an NFL coach. Hey, I have a plan. Yep. I'm going in there and I'm executing it right or wrong. That's what I'm doing. If all of a sudden you throw something on me that day, I don't, I feel like I'm being, and I don't, I don't ever like, I don't like talking money with patients. I don't either. I, I'm a surgeon. I didn't go to, I'm not an MBA. Okay. I didn't take an accounting class. Yeah. Okay. All I want to do is show up, do the best surgery. And I think patients want that. They want us to be focused on the surgery, you know, not being the business guy. And you know, what do we do? Do we, we used to have something on the web, Lori, that showed ranges of a surgery. Do we do that still? So, but when they call, we'll tell them a range.

Dr. Patrick Basile [14:28 - 15:07]
Yeah. I think ranges are smart. I have colleagues that put all their prices on the website. They swear by it. But for me, that's a little tacky just for me, but I don't mind, certainly if someone's going to spend with, for most people, a big investment in themselves, I think they should know ahead of time what they're looking at. And like I said, it's better for you. It's better for the patient, but I try to not talk money. I just literally, my, my talking thing is sorry. I'm the talent that's, you know, that's over there. I try to focus on what we want to do for you and what you need and not let money blur that, you know, so I can give you a very, you know, objective assessment.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [15:08 - 15:23]
Well, I think that, it's working, you know, whatever you're doing on your social media is hilarious. I'm trying to keep up with you. What's the social media handle so I can tell everybody. Uh, it's at Dr. Patrick Basile. You guys got to watch it.

Dr. Patrick Basile [15:23 - 15:24]
It's great.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [15:24 - 15:32]
They got the best. Your whole staff is committed. They love it for me to get one of my girls to do something. Right. Izzy is an act of Congress.

Dr. Patrick Basile [15:32 - 15:45]
Well, again, I'm impressed because you've upped your game. Absolutely. But I'm like you, it's like, they're like, come on, we got to shoot some content. I'm like, okay. You know, but once they get you, so we try to at least schedule a little bit.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [15:45 - 16:07]
I only, honestly, the only person that's ever gotten me to do it is Isabella. Yeah. Okay. Short of that. I mean, Lori and Amy would be chasing me down for months. All we need is a five-second video. Yeah. Yeah. I don't have time for it. The problem is that she's so persistent. I don't know where she gets it from. She just pounds. Uh, but you guys have really, it's smart.

Dr. Patrick Basile [16:07 - 16:07]
Yeah.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [16:07 - 16:10]
You know, it's like well thought out and it reaches people.

Dr. Patrick Basile [16:10 - 17:18]
Well, we try not to be cheesy. I don't like that. I don't like to be followed too much of what is trending either. We try to be, have a lot of original content, but for me, the whole thing from the very beginning, and this really started mostly during COVID because we were kind of shut down was education. I want good info out there so that people, are getting good information, you know, and if it's funny, cool. If it's educational, great, but also they want to see that you're just a normal person, you know? And it's funny. Because I like to, you know, I put up what I'm going to do on a surgery day. I put the music we're listening to and when a patient is on their back, like, so what's going to be on the playlist today? Am I going to be on the playlist? You know? And then that day we'll put it up and they'll be like, that's my song. Oh, that's cool. So we, you know, we try to make it fun, but people like that stuff. You know, it's, it, I think it makes you seem like more of a real person. And again, you're doing the same thing. You're doing great job. People, I think people have a very good idea who you are, you know, from, from, you know, everything you do in your social media. And that's important because then it feels like, again, like, you know, you're just a good person who cares about what they do for sure, man.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [17:18 - 17:26]
And you're not, and you're not after for the money, Patrick, you know, so many people are, I was at our national meeting in Vegas, by the way, do you like Las Vegas?

Dr. Patrick Basile [17:26 - 17:30]
I like it for the food and the show. So I went to see Metallica two weeks ago.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [17:30 - 17:40]
Oh, you went to the sphere and saw them? Yeah. Awesome. Was it good? It was beyond awesome. I, okay. So when I was there, they were saying that Metallica was coming a few weeks later. Oh man. I wish I would've seen them.

Dr. Patrick Basile [17:40 - 17:51]
Yeah. Like it's, it's great for the food and the shows. I'm not a big gambler. I actually find myself going to bed at like nine o'clock at night because my schedule's all messed up. Yeah.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [17:51 - 18:22]
I would, I was beat every night by 8:30, nine o'clock. I'm not used to it. Anyway, we were, what was I talking about? Oh yeah. Yeah. I was talking to a couple of guys that were telling me how, you know, they had just bought this car. One of them had, was thinking about going into a partial ownership of a plane and all this. And I'm sitting here thinking, yeah, but what technique are you using with lower eyelid blepharoplasty? You know, I don't care about all that crap.

Dr. Patrick Basile [18:23 - 18:23]
Yeah.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [18:23 - 18:26]
I think let's talk about the real stuff. How are we going to help people?

Dr. Patrick Basile [18:26 - 19:25]
Yeah. And I tell people all the time, there's much easier ways to make money than what we do. For sure. What we do is very hard. It's not a nine to five job. I know we both think about what we do constantly, especially since we're business owners, but we think about our patients as well. And there's no time off for that. Even when my, even when I'm away, when I was away, I'm still, you know, working with the team to work on scheduling and stuff like that. But that's what we wanted to do. And that's what we're in it for, you know? And so I think if we just focus on taking care of the patients, like we would want to be taking care of offering a good consistent product, all the other stuff comes with it. It falls in line. It falls in line. Then you don't worry about it. I never worried about money. Yeah. I worried about my reputation doing a good job. And if you do that, and I tell the young surgeons who are just coming out of training, learn how to say no to, you know, always learn how to say no, because if it doesn't feel good in your gut, it's going to come back to you.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [19:25 - 19:47]
For sure. It's funny. As we segue into the last section, my dad used to always say to us, do this because you love it and financial security will come second. But if you do a chasing a dollar, you're never going to be good at it and you're never going to get the dollar, you know? So that's really good that you say that.

Dr. Patrick Basile [19:47 - 19:48]
Yeah. It's important.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [19:48 - 21:59]
Yeah. Well, man, this has been awesome. And as you know, I have to close. I have to. All right. What do you got? All right. This is a good one. I might, you know, my social media goddess, as I now call her, has forced me to do motivational Mondays. All right. Okay. So in motivational Monday, she will start bothering me at eight o'clock in the morning on Monday, and she will tell me that I need to bring, give her a motivational thing. So a lot of times it's things that my dad taught me. So, all right. What's the one? Oh, this is a good one. This is a good one. Let them talk. You control your story. And so would, when he would tell me that when he started having success as a physician, he was, he came from Cuba in 60, probably like 80, you know, he built it. He had already was on a second practice and people started bad mouthing him. Yeah. Normally is the case. Right. And they only talk bad about you because they can't do what you do. That's it. It's not because they genuinely care about what you're doing. They care about the results of what you're doing and how they're not able to achieve those results. Absolutely. And so let them talk. Your story is your story. Your commitment to you is yours. You should never let outside forces bend or dent your path. And so I kind of, and most people who are successful in their trade think that way. Right. I mean, if you would have spent your time in medical school, oh, what does this person think? You would have never gone into plastic surgery because you would have found a hundred people telling you, you need to go into a rural area, Patrick. Yeah. And you need to do family practice. Absolutely. And if we would have been listening to people all along, we'd never get where you are. You get an idea in your head. You're convinced that it's the right thing for you and your future family. And that's the direction you're going in, by golly, and nothing's going to stop you.

Dr. Patrick Basile [22:00 - 22:31]
Right. I've had countless people along the way say, oh, you can't do that. You're, you know, you won't get that spot. You won't do this. And maybe it's stubbornness and you wanted to prove them wrong. But in the end, that was also motivation for me to be like, I can do this. I will do this. Not going to let anybody tell me what I can or can't do. And one of my most favorite photos is, I think it's Michael Phelps, maybe racing Lochte, where Lochte's looking at him. When Michael Phelps is looking this way.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [22:31 - 22:31]
I've seen that.

Dr. Patrick Basile [22:31 - 22:45]
That's so incredible. And every time I see that, that gives me goosebumps because that's what I've always done is, if you pay attention too much about, oh my God, what's they doing? What are they doing? It takes your eye off of the prize.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [22:45 - 22:45]
Absolutely.

Dr. Patrick Basile [22:45 - 22:58]
And if you just focus on you being a good person, doing a good job, people can't talk bad about you. You know, because then if anybody did, they'd be like, you're crazy.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [22:58 - 22:59]
That's not the Roberto. I know.

Dr. Patrick Basile [22:59 - 22:59]
No.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [23:00 - 23:00]
You know?

Dr. Patrick Basile [23:00 - 23:28]
So, and again, we both do the same thing. It starts with how we were raised. For sure. It starts with the way your parents set you the example, showed you, you know, my parents were second generation. But again, that work ethic is there that like, you know, if you do your best, work hard, that's, you know, it's going to pay off in ways more so than money. Yeah. It's going to create your reputation. And, you know, to quote Maximus, what we do in life echoes in eternity, right?

Dr. Roberto Garcia [23:29 - 23:37]
Great. But, you know, that was the movie that I saw with, when I was, that was the first movie I ever saw with my wife when we were dating. It's great.

Dr. Patrick Basile [23:37 - 23:39]
It's a great movie. I rewatch it all the time.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [23:39 - 23:48]
You know, it's, it's interesting because it's kind of that concept of when you're looking forward, there's nothing obstructing you. When you move to the side, there's a thousand things obstruct you.

Dr. Patrick Basile [23:49 - 23:49]
Yeah.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [23:49 - 24:28]
You know what I mean? Absolutely. And it's, it's not a matter of whether you're going to have people in your life telling you, the naysayers telling you, you should or shouldn't do something. That's there. That's going to happen. Yeah. It's a matter of whether you're going to listen to them. Sure. You know, because they're always going to be there. Yeah. And I'm, I've never, I've built three businesses, three different styles of practices. And not once did I listen to people. Maybe at my first one, I listened to more people, but as you get older. Well, it probably held you back too. And it did. And as you get older, you come to the realization, you say, all right, Roberto, today, this is what I'm doing. For me to not do that, it's my fault. Absolutely. It's not anybody else's fault. I'm not going to let it be somebody else's fault.

Dr. Patrick Basile [24:28 - 24:46]
Yeah. And the other thing is, and I saw some motivation guy talking about this is, when you, you know, the trouble is sometimes people have a plan A, B, C, and D. If you don't have B, C, and D, and you're just going to put everything you have in A and gamble on yourself, nothing's going to hold you back.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [24:47 - 24:53]
That's right. Yeah. I mean, we talked about that one time. It's the Hernán Cortés concept, right? We burn the ships.

Dr. Patrick Basile [24:53 - 24:54]
Yeah.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [24:54 - 24:58]
You know, you don't give yourself option B. No. I've told my kids that all the time.

Dr. Patrick Basile [24:59 - 25:00]
This has to work out.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [25:00 - 25:01]
It will work out.

Dr. Patrick Basile [25:01 - 25:05]
It will work out. Yes. And we both have talked about that before.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [25:05 - 25:05]
Yeah.

Dr. Patrick Basile [25:05 - 25:11]
Where there was never even a chance that it wasn't going to work. No.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [25:11 - 25:31]
I'm telling you, today, these kids need to hear this more than ever. A hundred percent. That there is no, there's no security. There's no turnbuckle. You're going to get, you are going to get this one way or another and you're going to do it alone because that's what it means the most.

Dr. Patrick Basile [25:32 - 25:32]
Of course.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [25:32 - 25:35]
You know? Yeah. Brother, I love you, man.

Dr. Patrick Basile [25:35 - 25:36]
Thank you for having me. That's great.

Dr. Roberto Garcia [25:36 - 26:06]
I appreciate it. I wish we could do this more often, but the girls don't let me bring guests here because they feel like I embarrass them. So, all right, next week we are going to have Carolina Schmieder, our nutritionist. How to prepare yourself physically and mentally for surgery, not for life. All right. Thank you guys. Thank you. Dr. Basile, appreciate you having me. Appreciate you being here. Guys, as always, remember good decisions come from good information. See you later.
